Although I don’t particularly like the concept of selfies, I did draw one for the 52-Week Illustration Challenge that I entered on Facebook. To keep the illustration juices flowing we are presented with a different theme every week. This week’s challenge is a ‘selfie’. I did one in pencil and soft pastels.

Brilliant picture. I’m torn between picking up my paintbrush and hitting the keys. It’s so hard to find the time for both. I love sewing too.

Thank you, Paula. My main occupation is writing, but I recently got back into drawing as a substitute for idling away my time on the internet. I’m happy to be drawing and painting again.
